Okay, like my pessimistic (told you you that you'd jinx us. Do you listen? NOPE!) best friend has already informed everyone (side note - this blog looks like an easter egg with all the different colors) Nathanson is a bum that canceled his show (circumstances in his control or not, he should've checked with us first before canceling. Hear me, Matt?!), but RENT it is.
Which, really... could there be a better reason for us to drive cross country? Adam Pascal, AND -- ANTHONY RAPP. Hello, first Mark Cohen. One thing I didn't take into account until just this second is the RENT movie and how many people know of them and will see the show for that reason. Musicals into Movies make me sad.
Moving on.
I changed the hotel reservations. The plans are as follows:
March 4th:
Leave work at 12:3oPM Central Time. We will arrive in Omaha, Nebraska that night.
March 5th:
Leave Nebraska and drive 15 hours to Utah; this will be the longest leg of the trip that we're doing in one stretch.
March 6th:
Utah to California! We'll arrive in LA early enough to hang out that night and most of the next day since the show doesn't start until 8PM. So... we need to think of things to do! Kate's never been, so it'll be fun to (vaguely) show her around (I'm going to attempt to not get us killed, maimed, or other wise hurt in any way)
March 8th:
We drive from California slightly out of our way to the Grand Canyon. It's 2 hours off the plan, but we can't be THAT close to it and not go see it. So from there to our hotel in Santa Fe!
March 9th:
Travel day to Lawrence, Kansas! I'm probably more excited to go see Lawrence than LA, but that's because I'm odd. I'll post more about things to do in the different cities as I find them.
March 10th:
Lawrence to home! And then we have off March 11th to recover.
So... that sums up the itinerary! Now off to make a new header graphic since the stupid dates changed.
